A school chaplain is sought for the three schools in a beautiful part of South East Somerset.
The Chaplain will be there to listen and care, pray for and bless the schools. S/he will:
have experience of pastoral work with young people within a church and educational context;
be passionate about developing a distinctive and inclusive Christian chaplaincy in church and community schools and offering pastoral and spiritual care to all.
Salary: £9,051 for 3 days a week term time only. [£22,627 full time equivalent].
The post is open to lay and ordained candidates of any Christian Church. There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) that the holder of this post is a Christian as this is a Christian ministry post. Equality act 2010 part 1. This post is also subject to an enhanced DBS check.
