Ski trip to Artesina, Italy – a week to remember
Students from across all year groups have returned from an incredible ski trip to Artesina in Italy, filled with challenge, achievement and unforgettable experiences.
After arriving safely and getting fully equipped, excitement was high as students prepared to take to the slopes. Over the course of the week, pupils made outstanding progress — from first‑time skiers gaining confidence to more experienced students refining their technique and taking on more demanding runs.
Blessed with excellent weather conditions, students demonstrated resilience, teamwork and determination each day, supporting one another and embracing every opportunity to improve. The positive attitudes and behaviour shown throughout the trip were a real credit to the school.
Evenings were just as enjoyable, with highlights including pizza night, après‑ski activities, snowshoeing adventures and the ever‑popular Mrs Southern Quiz, which brought plenty of laughter and friendly competition.
Staff were extremely proud of all students for the way they represented the school, and many have returned home having well and truly caught the “Alpine bug”. Excitement is already building, with plans for an Easter Ski Trip 2027 set to launch soon.
