Year 10 Students Excel at the ‘Made in Somerset’ Competition
On Tuesday 10 March, two teams of Year 10 students represented the school at the Made in Somerset competition, sponsored by Landsec and hosted at Clarks Village. The event brought together schools from across the region, giving students the opportunity to present their business concepts to a panel of national judges.
Our teams — Team Scented (Leo, Roscoe, Malachy, Lilla, Verity, Emelia and Darcey) and Team Tug (Cassian, John Mark, Henry and Isaac) — delivered highly professional and well‑researched presentations. Both groups demonstrated excellent teamwork, creativity and confidence in communicating their ideas.
We are delighted to announce that Team Scented were named overall winners of the competition. They will now progress to the virtual regional finals in April, where they will compete against schools from across the South West.
The school is extremely proud of all the students involved for their hard work, dedication and exemplary conduct throughout the event.
