WisePay (Online payments)


Dear Parents / Carers

SAST has been notified that there has been a data security incident which has affected the WisePay platform.  You may have noticed the website was offline temporarily in the last few days.

As a result of this incident we have been advised by the provider today that a limited number of parents’ card details within the WisePay system may have been shared unlawfully between 2ndOctober and 6th October.  All those affected will be informed as soon as we know.

In the meantime, please be conscious of any unusual bank transactions and if you are unsure of anything, advise your bank in the normal way. An investigation is currently underway regarding any potential data loss in partnership with the Information Commissioners Office.

This term, we are introducing a new parent payment system called ‘WisePay’, which we hope will help by making paying for trips etc easier for you, and reduce the amount of cash students bring into school

This online payment service is our preferred method for you to pay for trips, events, tickets etc.  WisePay is a quick and easy to use system, available 24/7 allowing you to make safe, secure payments online via your debit/credit card.  We will use WisePay for general communication and in addition emails concerning online payments will be sent through the WisePay system. You will also be able to give consent for trips

A free WisePay app is now available for Apple and Android phones. You will need to enter the organisation code: 15546355

When will this happen?

You will have received a letter containing your login details.  Please log on as soon as possible to ensure any problems can be dealt with as soon as possible.  It is recommended that you change your password, which will also automatically change your username to your registered email address.  This means that the next time you log in you will use your email address as your user name and the password will be the one you have chosen.  The original username provided by school will become redundant.

Please note:

There is only one account for each child so parents will be required to share login details. In the event of parents living at different addresses and a need for both to make payments, please contact the Finance Department at the school.

If you have more than one child at the school, you will receive separate login details for each child but parents are able to link the siblings so they are viewed under a single login – please see the ‘How to Guide’ below. N.B. Accounts must be linked from the youngest sibling.


What do I need to do?

Check your Junk/Spam folders and add the email address noreply@wisepay.co.uk to your contact favourites or approved sender list to ensure that any WisePay communications are displayed in your main newsfeed.

Ensure you use an up-to-date internet browser such as Internet Explorer v9 and above. Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome are recommended over the default browser with some smart phones and tablets.

All parent accounts will automatically be set up to receive text and emails. If you do not wish to receive one or both forms of communication you will need to change your settings in your WisePay Account section on the home page – see help guide below.


Changes to contact details

You will be able to change your contact details in WisePay but it is essential you also inform the school so our internal records are up to date. If you wish the school to make the changes in WisePay on your behalf, please let us know this when you are submitting any contact detail changes to us.

WisePay is replacing our previous payment system, WorldPay/Tucasi, so please do not make any further payments this way. Thank you.
